Jineor woke up in bed, he felt warmth on his back- he rolled over, seeing Kael laying alongside him. What had he done? He felt different, changed, and yet he’d woken up no different than he had the day before. He can’t believe he’d done it- he’d somehow had a Prince lust over him, within hours of meeting one another. And then pandering over each other all day. It was usually the story of “two lonely souls,” but this was Royalty lying with a (supposed) hermit. Had he, sending himself inside the boy the previous day, somehow influenced the Prince with his own desires?

Inception? That’d make sense. A Prince couldn’t’ve just consensually done the things Kael had done? Unless he had? Jineor groaned, throwing his head into his hands. It was too early to be thinking about this.

Food.

On the table lay a tray of food, untouched and without perish from the previous day. He looked at it with sad eyes. He felt his slime growl loudly. “Yeah, okay, I’m sorry- I couldn’t eat in front of the human.” Jineor justified.

He stood up and walked to the table. Grabbing the first thing that caught his eye, a small wheel of cheese. He breathed slowly, his human skin relaxed, showing his true shades of green. “That’s better,” he glowed. He took the wheel of cheese and pushed it slowly into his stomach. He closed his eyes in satisfaction, it was some of the best food they’d had in years. Jineor felt collectively satisfied. He turned towards to bed.

Kael was still asleep, though he did stir he remained unconscious. Jin knew he should quit while he was ahead, but his body was so hungry- he couldn’t just walk away from a tray with food piled on. It was begging to be ate, and he was begging himself to eat it. He started slowly at first, grabbing fruits and having them dissolve under his skin. He moved to cuts of meat, a loaf of bread, a handful of berries. Pretty soon the tray was half empty, and he was half full- “Not that a smile can ever get full,” he thought jokingly to himself.

Now, pushing out of his robe before him was a fairly large belly bump- an improvement over his stick-figure minutes earlier. He looked at the tray, Jin now had enough slime to cover it- and so he thought he’d do so. He relaxed his body, and his stomach began to drip down- pouring out over the table and across the tray, encompassing all the remaining food. Jineor was ecstatic, as a thinner slime he’d never been able to do things. He’d read, heard, and even witnessed a few things humanoid-slimes could accomplish- beginning to wonder what he could do with even more food! His greed was in full effect.

“What on earth…” said a familiar voice.

Jin spun round, sitting up in bed was Kael. Kael looked shocked, confused, terrified. Kael glanced to the empty side of the bed, and quickly back. He looked as if he was about to shout.

“No don’t!” Jin testified, raising his hands to calm the prince he found that a glob of slime unintendedly was spat from his palm- covering Kael’s mouth.

Jin took the opportunity to jump atop Kael, placing his hand over the boy’s mouth - the slime glob fusing with him once more.

“It’s me, Kael.” He said. Tensing his body, creating his human exterior. “It’s me.”

The terror left Kael’s eyes, as Jin withdrew his hand. “I guess you might have more than several questions… But if you want me to leave, I will- just please don’t tell anyone about this.”

“Jin?”

Jineor nodded.

“I- I- “ the Prince gulped back. Spending a moment looking Jineor in the face. Finally he grinned: “Why are you so heavy all of a sudden?”

Jineor couldn’t believe this. He could not. A human, was joking with him- a slime. A human was grinning, holding, and kissing... a slime.

And he: was kissing back.

“No wait- hold up!” Jineor protested, “What are you doing?”

“Uhhh-” droned Kael. “Is this a trick question?

“No it’s not!”

“Well: I’m kissing you.” He smirked, going in for another.

Jin pulled back. “Stop a sec. Why are you kissing me still?”

“Because.”

“I will treat you like a child, if that’s your answer. Are you not freaked out that the semi-transparent green thing you just saw became me?”

“I thought that was you?”

“Well, yeah, but like- answer the question.”

“Am I freaked out? I mean, I was, but then you became you again and you… okay this is getting confusing.”

The two sat facing each other for a short while. Jin staring blankly, while Kael examined him.

“Okay then, I guess I’ll ask.” Kael started, “What are you?”

“I’m a humanoid-slime.”

“A slime? Like those little gelatinous things you find in the wilds?”

“Actually, we’re much more common underground, but yeah- like those gelatinous things. Doesn’t that make you afraid of me?”

“Why should I be afraid of you?”

“Because I’m a slime! I don’t know, humans hate us. We’re monsters...”

“Humans hate little gelatinous things stealing their food. Wait are all slimes like you? Like conscious and… stuff.”

“Everything has some consciousness, but wild slimes aren’t self conscious. They live to experience living. To eat, mainly. I’m fully self aware, a rarity in comparison to the wilds.”

“So what’s your purpose, if little slimes eat- what do you do?”

Jin laughed, “Little slimes don’t just ‘eat,’ when we eat we turn the food into energy- like you humans. Any excess food become mass. Slimes get bigger until they can eat bigger things.”

“Wait,” said Kael, confused. “So you’re saying that that’s also what you do?”

“No, well…” Jin looked down to his new weight. “It’s something I do. But in terms of “purpose”: I’m the same as you. I’m basically human- it’s the stuff I’m made out of that isn’t…”

“Does that bother you?”

“It makes things complicated - but I don’t really have a problem with it… Does it bother you?”

Kael gave a toothy smile, “No. You’re sweet- totally not a monster at all.”   Pulling himself forward to steal a kiss.

“What are we doing?” Sighed Jineor, blissfully, “You’re Royalty, I’m… me. We only spoke for the first time yesterday.”

“I don’t know- I guess it’s sort of pathetic of me. But I mean, it happened didn’t it? Naturally?”

“You wanted to do those things?”

“Yeah! Didn’t you?”

    “...Yeah.”

“Then don’t worry about it! Even if you don’t think this is going to work out, still, come back with us to Green Hold! It’ll be perfect.” Kael pushed Jin into the mattress, lying atop Jin’s new tummy.

“You know: You’re actually kind of cute chubby.” Giggled the Prince.

Jineor blushed.

“How about we get some more food?”

They headed back to Green Hold a day later, Jineor having packed up the few items valuable to him- he rode aside the luggage, as it would’ve been quite cramped from within the carriage. Kael had kept Jin well fed, having been almost starving a week before, now he sported a soft little belly. It filled him with pride to have put on weight- “Look at how much I’ve been eating,” he would say to himself. He’d blush even more when Kael started to call him “fat” instead of just “chubby.”
They arrived at Pod- the capital of The Fields. It was a fairly large city compared to any Jineor had seen. The houses made mainly from red bricks- and large walls of white stone. It was a bustling city, yet it had an air of peace to it.
Jin was to stay at the castle, under request of Kael. Although the Prince had not informed his father of what Jin meant to him- he’d convinced the King that he needed Jin by his side. And so it was that each evening they’d meet, in gardens, private audience chambers - and occasionally one another's bedrooms.
Kael really enjoyed Jin’s company, despite how the slime thought he ought to’ve been treated.
One night the two were in the basements of the castle, the large airy chambers were left abandoned during the nights- the two brought down a set of blankets and would curl up by a small fire.
One night they were talking about how the summer/autumn harvest would begin very soon- Kael going into detail about all the crops that grew in the Hold, and what the cooks did with them; when all of a sudden they heard a squelching noise.
“What is that?” Asked Jin, first.
“I don’t know…” Kael responded, standing up. Grabbing a splint from the fire he walked the length of the basement alcove. Looking for the source of the noise. It found him before he found it. “Uahhh!”
“What! What is it?” Called Jin, running over to the Prince’s side.
“I stood in er... “ Below his left foot was a small ball of slime- smushed apart by the pressure of the prince’s foot. “Is that part of you?”
Jin laughed, “No. Hey there little fella.” He scooped it off of the floor. And let it settle in his hands. “I guess he knew I was here.”
“What are you going to do with it?”
“Er- I mean… let it go?”
“You can’t do that! I don’t mean to be insensitive, but if anyone finds it it’ll be... “
“What?”
“...disposed of.” Kael slowly injected.
“Oh.”
“Oh? Aren’t you like… freaked out? Or… I don’t know: Slightly offended, or something?”
“You make it sound like, I should care a lot more than I do. Besides- if it’ll fuse with me, then we’ll be set.”
Jineor stepped back into the warmth of the fire.
“Fuse?” Questioned Kael, following behind him.
“Yeah, slime fusing. When one slime combines itself with another slime. It’s like how we eat…”
“Explanation please.”
Jin scowled at Kael. He sighed: “One smile will fuse with another slime. Both slimes become a single slime- with a mass the same as the two combined. Then, since it’s bigger it can eat more, get even bigger from excess food- and then if it splits up, it’ll be like asexual reproduction. More slimes than they started with.”
“Gross… I think.”
“Okay- now that was insensitive.”
“Sorry… So you’re going to fuse with it.”
“Trying.” The Prince watched the slime boy fondle the ball for some time- finally, the two connected. The slime burrowing inside Jineor’s chest- blending in in a mere matter of seconds. His flesh tremored as the new slime distributed itself within him.

“Woah. Neat.”
“...’Neat’ is your reaction to THAT?”
“Uhhh- yeah.”
“You humans never cease to amaze me.” Jineor growled sarcastically.
“Yeah, but you like me, don’t you- Jineor?” Kael simpered- pressing the slime’s cheeks in.
“I might,” Jin jested.
“You… you look fatter.”
“Well there is more of me now… do I really look fat though?”
“I've seen fatter people, but you're pretty hefty. Why, is it a problem?”
“No… it's just. I like this new weight, I feel so well fed, so fulfilled.”
“So you want to get fatter?” Kael queried - interested.
“I'm a slime- I don't get fatter, I just get bigger.”
“Okay,” Kael accepted, “How big do you want to get?” he grinned.
Jineor was taken back by the inquiry. “I… I want to be-” he blushed.
“Because I can help with that.” Kael smiled.
Jin was taken back even more now, this sudden proposal had his mind running.  He was overwhelmed with thoughts - he was flattered that his Prince would consider helping him, he was humbled by the freedom of his answer, but underlying everything was greed. He wanted the Prince, he wanted food, he wanted- “I want to be massive.”
“Then you shall be.” Kael insisted.

Over the next few days Jineor and Kael spent much more time together, their guise less supported- but two people eating was nothing to question , surely?
Jineor’s previous tummy transformed into a large belly. It spread over him, his previously elegant walk became a waddle, his stomach drooling out of his robes. Whenever he and Kael were alone, he would shed his human form- displaying his softer, greener underside. Kael would pad his flesh, wobbling Jineor like he was a plate of jelly. Clasping Jin’s stomach between his hands- kneading and massaging his sluggish rolls of fat.
“Doesn’t it bother you?” Jin would sometimes ask, unconvinced of the Prince’s affection.
“Not at all.” Kael would always respond.
One session, as Jin slowly was dissolving a cheese wheel, Kael leant in to kiss his stomach. He pulled back slowly, and then immediately dived in again. Kael licked, kissed, nuzzled, and made out with Jineor’s slime up until he had to stop him.
“Kael, what are you doing?”
“... l… I don't know. I don't know what just- what just came over me?Just… you taste so good.”
“I… taste good?”
“Yeah. Sorry, but I got some of you in my mouth and… I just had to kiss you. Like wow. Does slime have that effect on humans?”
Jineor tried to find the answer subconsciously, “I have no idea. I - I guess that it gave you some kinda euphoric effect.?”
“That makes sense? I dunno… I want… more.”
Jineor sneered, about to mock the Prince when they had a thought. “Do you want to try something?“ He asked, a hand of slime drooped in front of the prince as Jineor smiled eagerly…

Er- I guess this is going places?
